Pegboard is commonly used to organize tools and other items. If you have old pegboard made from particleboard or other manufactured products (not metal or hardwood), it may contain asbestos.

The vinyl itself does not usually contain asbestos, but it is in the white backing material that can be seen here where the vinyl has worn through. Because the backing is flexible it is easily damaged and fibres can be released.
