Asbestos sprayed coating to steelwork.
Thermal asbestos spray on coating was widely used in commercial construction for fireproofing and insulation purposes. This a particularly dangerous product as it is easily damaged and fibres can be released. It is not common in homes, but it has been found.
Rope Gasket

Asbestos Rope Gasket.
Asbestos rope gaskets were used for many purposes, including to seal pipework, heaters, boilers etc. It has been found inside doors for insulation and fireproofing. It was also used to seal oven doors in old stoves and if present, is likely to be a significant hazard.
