Sprayed (Limpit) Asbestos in a Home

You would normally see sprayed (limpit) asbestos like this in larger commercial buildings, but here we see the ceilings inside a home and the extensive preparations being made to remove it. Limpit asbestos is easily disturbed, so is extremely hazardous.

Vinyl Floor

The vinyl itself does not usually contain asbestos, but it is in the white backing material that can be seen here where the vinyl has worn through. Because the backing is flexible it is easily damaged and fibres can be released.
