Another example of floor tiles – this time from 1977.

Again, these are only examples of the variety of tiles (and you may remember having the same designs on vinyl flooring) that were produced.

Many of these designs were also made into vinyl sheeting. The backing on the vinyl contained asbestos and the fibres are released if the material is in poor condition or removed without any control measures.
